Dioctyl terephthalate CAS 6422-86-2 is a Pale yellow transparent oily liquid or Colorless transparent oily liquid. Dioctyl terephthalate (DOTP) is the excellent plasticizer for PVC plastic, compared with the commonly used diisooctyl phthalate (DOP), it has the advantages such as heat resistance, cold resistance, difficult to volatilize, soft, good electric insulating property, etc. The products has good durability, and low temperature softness. It can be extensively used in cable materials resisting to 70°C (IEC standard) and other PVC soft products.DOTP can be used in cable materials, PVC plasticizer and in the production of artificial leather film. Application

1. DOTP has good electric and thermal properties, it can be used in the production of artificial leather film. In addition, it has excellent compatibility, and used in the plasticizing of acrylonitrile derivative, PVB, nitrile rubber, nitrocellulose, etc. As softener in nitrile rubber, chloroprene rubber, EPDM and other products. Has significant plasiticizing effect and low volatility in cable materials, it is widely used in the products requiring heat resistance and high insulation, it is the ideal plasticizer in the production of cable materials resisting to 70℃ and other PVC products resisting to volatilization.
